The sims 3...it's here...
I'm going to keep my TS3 and TS2 blogs separate, so if you want to see
my TS3 blog, it will be here.
Of course, with my brand-new, shiny TS3, TS2 will be neglected a bit. I will definitely continue updating, I just don't know when. I'm sure you understand. :)
Tata for now!

Bury my heart @ Crypt'O'Night Club

Soon, they were deep in conversation, and she noticed that Sinjin made sure the bartender kept her glass full. She would have objected, but hey! Why would you turn down free juice? She spent the rest of the night in a haze, but here's the summary:

I really didn't understand what was with Mandie; Sinjin is an incredible jerk! And yet, he's on her mind (and want panel) 90% of the time, while it's zip for Thomas here. (Keep in mind that she and Thomas share three bolts, while she and Sinjin share only two) The only reason they're going steady is because she autonomously chose to do so. Hmmm...
A rather normal and mundane marriage...

Many rumors circle around, though, that Lucas and Madeline's marriage is in trouble. Some of the more absurd rumors, however, always earn a chuckle out of Lucas. Like, Lucas is wild and unfaithful, or Madeline's a closet "freak"; y'know, outrageous things such as that.
Truth is, they have a rather normal and mundane marriage.

Lucas and Madeline really were one of my most boring couples, until I saw this. And of course, since her son is 3 years old now, she decides to get pregnant. Popularity sim my butt! =P
Jillian is too adorable; I think he might have Lucas' "dimples". He most certainly has his eyes!
And if you're wondering about the snapshot size, I wanted to make it smaller so the picture quality would be better. Truth is, it kind of made it worse. Oh well, lessons learned. Future updates (not including "Bury My Heart @ Crypt'O'Night Club) the pics will be better and therefore clearer. :)
No One Was More Surprised...

She had to take a $10,000 mortgage to afford this home in East Crescents so Finch could grow up around his future classmates, and she still needed $20,000 to open up the real estate office she's had her eye on in Linden Park.
In retrospect it was pretty obvious she was expecting; she and Joseph had been going at it like bunnies, and she was puking up a storm. So much so, that they had to get a new toilet.

Her mother, Meadow, couldn't have been happier. Alora was her only child that has given her grandchildren, so far.

I tried a new writing style, just to see if it were any better third-person style than it was first-person style. Third person is a bit easier to write, but I feel I can't go as deep into character as I can when I write first-person. Eh, I think I'll stick with third-person until further notice. ;)
On a side note, I was cracking up the entire time I was playing the Millers. Alora seriously has some raging pregnancy hormones! When she was pregnant with Finch, she was unbelievably frisky. She would not leave her husband alone! Now, pregnant with another little bundle of joy, she's chasing her husband around; always wanting to "Make Out" or "Woohoo". They woohooed right before Finch grew up, and they woohooed right after Finch grew up. It's actually rather funny, because her parents walked in on them woohooing on the sofa. They just stared.
An Overview of Crescent County
So, let's have a neighborhood overview to determine just how well he did:

2- Orashire
3-Deso City
4- Blue County
5- East Crescents
6- Linden Park
7- Matherview

Businesses in Demand:

So far, I think Joshua really proved himself. Linden Park needs some homes, and the college by the water tower is still under construction, but there's plenty of housing and plenty of land for any incoming homes or businesses.

First Annual Fundraiser

Love was in the air, but not everyone was feeling it as seen in this photo. Lucas and Madeline shyed away from each other throughout the entire event; even eating at separate tables!

Helena Jitmakusol, daughter of Phil and Je'Tamie Jitmakusol, was seen slow dancing with her fiancee Joshua Byall.

Again; no sight of the Mayor. Is it simply that he's elusive? Or is he purposely hiding from the press?
An Overview of Lemn Valley

Lemn Valley is a district of Crescent County, and is currently under construction. Full of historical sites, Lemn Valley is lovingly called "Old Town". Since Crescent County is running out of land, Lemn Valley will be the official home to all apartments.

Mayor Angel Dion speaks of a new district called "Upper Crescents". Upper Crescents will have a higher class appeal and will be home to mainly upper middle and high class families.
There is also a high demand of City Planners. "We are in dire need of City Planners if we want these districts to prosper," says the Mayor. "So far, only Joshua Byall is eligible for promotion to City Planner. We need about two more for Lemn Valley and Upper Crescents."
Let's do an overview, shall we?

Mayor of Desolado Village and Crescent County Turns Grey!

Yes, dear readers. Another one bites the grey. Lucienda Ray turned 52 in year 1 B.O.C.
Nearby family celebrated, and when she was asked who gets the title of Mayor, she said that she would hand it to Angel Dion. Many sims couldn't believe it!
But nonetheless, year 2 B.O.C., the first alien of a non-alien dominated neighborhood was elected Mayor of Crescent County.
Currently, no photos are available, but he is related to the webmaster of Crescent County's home site, Alakai (Dion) Miguel. Both Alakai and Angel are Aridia immigrants as well as their parents and their sister, Alora.
Many sims are taking the news of this well, and even some rejoicing; but not everyone's happy about this ordeal.
Let's hope this plays out okay.
Sims You Should Know: Mandie Jenner

Mandie Jenner is an up-and-coming photographer. This red haired, grey-eyed beauty resides in Lemn Valley for the time being. She is best known for some of her recent work; she's done photos for webmasters Alakai and Nancy Miguel, and even photographed the Countessa!
When asked what inspired her, she spoke of her late mentor. "Back when I was an intern and Couderc Photography, I knew I wanted to design. Lydia Couderc was a little known photographer, but she was amazing nonetheless. She's what inspired me to even go down this path!"
Her favorite colors to use are white and burgundy, and her favorite colors are purple and blue.

Our New Webmaster!
That all changed when her now husband, Alakai (Dion) Miguel, convinced Nancy she was worth so much more than that. "He really inspired me, y'know? He's the one that convinced me Journalism was my true calling."
I was fortunate enough to interview Mrs. Nancy Miguel, and
here's what she had to say:
Q: Were you born in
A: No, I was not. I was born in, Simcity, I believe. I went to college in Aridia, and that's where I met Alakai. At first, I just thought he was some upsnott rich kid, but he was truly a sweetheart.
Q: Was it hard making the transition from dormie to aspiring journalist?
A: I'm not going to lie; it was horrible! The professors and my employers didn't take me seriously. I felt so alone...but now look! I'm being interviewed by
Q: Flattery will get you nowhere and everywhere, dear. Now, how was the meeting with Alakai's parents and siblings?
A: Very stressful, at first. I didn't know how they'd react. But surprisingly, they were very supportive of our relationship. I'm even bff's with everyone! I feel I've really "conformed" into this family.
Q: So, what was it like; moving into your first place with Alakai?
A: It was pretty nice, actually. We bought furniture together, and he let me decorate the entire place! The only catch, was that he get to choose the design of the bedroom.
Q: And do you approve?
A: Actually, it wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be! *chuckles*
Q: So, do you have a picture of the bedroom?
A: No. It's an absolute mess. That's what you get for living with a guy, I guess. *smiles*
Q: So when did you guys marry?
A: We eloped, actually. We didn't have a honeymoon, either. We certainly made up for lost time, though!
Q: Is it safe to say there's going to be a little Miguel or two running around soon?
A: I'd say so, haha!
That concluded my interview with
