Our New Webmaster!

Nancy Miguel was originally just a college dormie; she didn't know her background, her history, not even her parents!
That all changed when her now husband, Alakai (Dion) Miguel, convinced Nancy she was worth so much more than that. "He really inspired me, y'know? He's the one that convinced me Journalism was my true calling."

I was fortunate enough to interview Mrs. Nancy Miguel, and
here's what she had to say:

Q: Were you born in Desolado Village?
A: No, I was not. I was born in, Simcity, I believe. I went to college in Aridia, and that's where I met Alakai. At first, I just thought he was some upsnott rich kid, but he was truly a sweetheart.

Q: Was it hard making the transition from dormie to aspiring journalist?
A: I'm not going to lie; it was horrible! The professors and my employers didn't take me seriously. I felt so alone...but now look! I'm being interviewed by Desolado Village's first mayor! What dormie would have dreamed of that?

Q: Flattery will get you nowhere and everywhere, dear. Now, how was the meeting with Alakai's parents and siblings?
A: Very stressful, at first. I didn't know how they'd react. But surprisingly, they were very supportive of our relationship. I'm even bff's with everyone! I feel I've really "conformed" into this family.

Q: So, what was it like; moving into your first place with Alakai?

A: It was pretty nice, actually. We bought furniture together, and he let me decorate the entire place! The only catch, was that he get to choose the design of the bedroom.

Q:
And do you approve?
A: Actually, it wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be! *chuckles*

Q: So, do you have a picture of the bedroom?
A: No. It's an absolute mess. That's what you get for living with a guy, I guess. *smiles*

Q: So when did you guys marry?
A: We eloped, actually. We didn't have a honeymoon, either. We certainly made up for lost time, though!
Q: Is it safe to say there's going to be a little Miguel or two running around soon?

A: I'd say so, haha!

That concluded my interview with Nancy. I really feel she's going to go places. She's currently still searching for her family history, so good luck to you Nancy!
